Postpartum Period
In many cultures around the world the first 40 days post delivery is also known as the “Fourth Trimester”. This time is ideally spent resting and being fully nurtured by family, friends and/or caregivers. It is a very important part of the postpartum healing process. Better care received during this time can potentially lead to healthier bodies in the months and years to follow.
